Quality and Environmental Policy
At STEELMAR LOGISTICS S.L (STEELMAR), a company dedicated to commercial services, maritime/air/road forwarding, warehousing, and customs services, we recognize that our sector requires continuous improvement to achieve customer satisfaction while respecting the environment. For this reason, we have implemented a Quality and Environmental Management System based on ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, which is applicable in our workplaces where we conduct our activities.
STEELMAR is committed to defining and applying this policy, which is based on the following principles:
- Creating a comprehensive management culture based on service quality and environmental protection by training and motivating our employees.
- Ensuring that the human resources, methods, and equipment used are suitable to meet the objectives established by the standard.
- Complying with customer requirements as well as applicable legislation, regulations, and other requirements that STEELMAR adheres to.
- Establishing measures for the prevention and reduction of all types of pollution and environmental impacts currently generated, implementing appropriate order and cleanliness measures, using natural resources rationally and efficiently, and promoting the reuse and recycling of generated waste.
- Promoting responsibility at all levels of the organization through the training and information of personnel involved in the integrated management system.
To achieve the stated objectives and comply with the Environmental Management System, management commits to fulfilling customer requirements, applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and those established within the system, continually improving its effectiveness.
This policy is subject to review for continuous suitability, is communicated within the organization to both internal and external personnel, and is available to the general public and other interested parties.
